A Proper Profile Picture

Here is what we need to see as your Adventures Profile Picture:

a recent photo

head and shoulders

close up

pretty smile

straight on

in focus

(avoid blurry or faded pics)

The photos below are great examples of what we are looking for:

               From fall2015passport.adventures.org        From fall2015passport.adventures.org

             From fall2015passport.adventures.org    From fall2015passport.adventures.org

If you can’t find a good one on Facebook, then grab your iPhone and a friend, or your friend’s iPhone, and go have yourself a little photo session. It’ll be fun!! 😀

Below are some excellent examples of what NOT to upload as your profile pictures. We love them and appreciate how they express your personality, they but don’t help us out much.

          The “Amateur Photographer”

          From fall2015passport.adventures.org

The “Me and My Boo”

 From fall2015passport.adventures.org

           The “Chic and Artsy”

         From fall2015passport.adventures.org

The “Me and My Squad”

 From fall2015passport.adventures.org

 The “Outdoor Enthusiast”

                The “Pet Lover”

The “Kiddo Cuddler”

Let’s review. Here are things we need you to leave out of your picture:

sunglasses

hats

other people

pets

costumes

“artsy” angles

silly faces

side profiles

food

#tbt’s

leprechauns*

(*This is the one exception. If you are able to capture a picture of yourself with a leprechaun (or a unicorn), please use it.)

Now that you’ve read this list, log in to your profile page and take a look at your picture.  If your picture resembles any of the ones above, or contains anything on the list, it’s time to upload a new photo.

Thank you so much for your cooperation!  We really appreciate you!
