Training Camp Travel Information
Your training camp will be at the Adventures in Missions office. The address is:
6000 Wellspring Trail
Gainesville, GA 30506
You will be staying at our facility. You need to bring a pillow and sleeping bag and we will provide the rest!
Arrival Travel information
If you are planning to FLY in for Training Camp:
ARRIVE in Atlanta, GA (Hartsfield-Jackson Int. – ATL) no later than 2:00 PM on
6.21.19 (1st Launch)
6.28.19 (2nd Launch)
When your flight arrives, grab your bag from baggage claim and then make your way to the designated meeting point. An Adventures staff person will be there beginning either late morning or early afternoon to greet you.
An Adventures shuttle will transport you from the airport to camp. Please pick up your bags and head to the meeting location as quickly as you can. The specific meeting point will be provided about a week prior to camp.
***The shuttle is only for participants who are traveling without their parents. If you and your parents are flying down together you will be responsible for figuring out your own transportation to camp.
If you are planning to DRIVE to camp:
You need to arrive at the above location between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST.
As soon as you have your training camp travel booked, please upload it to your profile under your Mobilization tab in the Travel section. This information will need to be provided by May 22nd.
Departing Travel Information:
If you plan on flying, you may depart from Atlanta, GA (Hartsfield-Jackson Int. – ATL) with a flight time between 8:00 AM and no later than 12:00 PM on 7.5.19, 7.12.19. 7.19.19, or 7.26.19 depending on your trip dates.
If you are driving you may also be picked up between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the above dates from the debrief hotel. The address to the hotel will be provided a few weeks from the trip launch date.
